We're Shindig Waupaca, and we've been your one-stop shop for everything sweet in Waupaca, WI, since 2021. We feature everything from nostalgic candies to today’s treats, along with an interactive game floor. If you're searching for a truly unique party experience, Shindig Waupaca is your answer. Our Story

We’re Shindig Waupaca, and we’ve been providing our community a unique experience since 2021. Our founder, Carolyn Niemuth, spent years as a camp director working with kids, coming up with and running different fun activities to keep them engaged and fulfilled. The time came where she wanted to switch gears to help people in a way that would both motivate and inspire her and the people she worked with. Carolyn and her husband decided a vintage candy store would be the perfect way for them to serve the community, and business has exploded ever since!

Shindig Waupaca is a vintage style candy shop with an exciting wow factor that stems from our owner’s passion and dedication. We’re all about growth and giving back, and we aim to provide an easygoing environment for our customers and community. We offer a one-of-a-kind interactive gaming floor, nostalgic and local candy and treats, and homemade cotton candy that makes for an unmatched party experience. Some of our services include a variety of party options, ranging from “The Shindiggity” ultimate party package, to customizable and on the go packages so that we’ll have you covered no matter the occasion. We offer a fun experience with diverse options for adults and for kids, so you can bring the whole family and be guaranteed there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

We’re so proud of the hard work of our staff, and how much they care about giving our customers an experience they won’t forget. Our team is always ready to help, whether it is answering any questions, pointing you in the right direction, or finding the right treat that your sweet tooth craves. We also have a collection of toys, gifts, fidgets, and novelties that you’re sure too fall in love with. We like to keep things fresh, so we offer seasonal offerings such as hot chocolate in the winter and shaved ice in the summertime to keep our customers satisfied throughout the seasons.

We take great pride in our ability to give back to the community as much as possible, in the form of donations, scholarships, and by simply providing a warm and bubbly charm that’s inviting to our customers. We hope to continue to expand our horizon and the ways we are able to support the people who in turn support us.

This is the candy store your kids will talk about when they grow up. From traditional penny candy and affordable pick your own bags to the nostalgic candies of yesteryear. They are always rotating in new candies, wild brands, spicy challenges, and the weird and wacky bug suckers. They arent a candy maker, but if you have that long lost favorite the folks at shindig can get it! They host events, birthday parties (our son's included painting, food, piñata, candy), and often have either free crafts, sample candies, or in house treats. I cannot express how much these folks love our community. The effort they put into supporting our schools, organizations, and other businesses is outstanding.
